Free Merchant Credit Card Processing From Google

Well, guess where else Google is trying to get your business? Through merchant services, aka, credit card processing. I used to be a huge Google fan, but quite honestly I'm getting tired of hearing about them grabbing more and more of the pie. I guess that's another blog.

Anyway. . .

Until Dec. 31, 2006, you can get free credit card processing through them. And even after that the rates are extremely low.

Google's merchant services are for web-based sales. It is designed so that your buyers click a small icon on your page, and buy your product or service that way. If you need to process credit card transactions some other way, such as over the phone or in person, then Google's service is not for you.
