Help for Microsoft Office Accounting Express

Do you need help with Microsoft Office Accounting Express? I now offer paid-support for users of this program. Contact me and let's talk about your situation. After that, if you would like me to actually see and work in the file, send it to me as an email attachment. Follow these steps:

  • From the File menu, select Accountant Transfer, then select Send Books. The "Accountant Transfer:Send" window opens.
  • Select the circle that says, "Send books manually." Click Next.

  • Select a cutoff date. This date is important - you will not be able to edit or add transactions on or before this date. If you are unsure, contact me first and we can figure it out together. After the date is selected, click Next.

  • Select "I will run payroll." Click Next.

  • Use the default file name given in the top box. In the location box, be sure to select a location that will be easy to find. If you are not sure, click the Browse button, navigate to your desktop, and save the file there. Click Next.

  • Select a password if you feel the file needs one. Click Next.

  • Simultaneously, the program will make a backup file. For now, use the default location of the backup file. In the future, we may need to know where this location is, but for now we don't. Click Export. The program will take a few minutes to perform the tasks. Click Finish when it is done.

  • After it is finished, go to your email program and generate an email to me (see Contact Info near my photo). In your email program, there should be an option somewhere to attach a file. Select this option. Navigate to the place on your desktop, or where ever you saved the file, and select the file you just created.

  • Send the email.
I'll contact you asap with updates.
